Dr. Stancill started his endodontic practice in Raleigh in 1994 and has been practicing endodontics in the Triangle area for over 30 years. A graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Dr. Stancill holds a Doctorate of Dental Surgery, an Endodontic Certificate, and a Masters in Science. His academic journey at UNC Chapel Hill was marked by outstanding achievement and a commitment to advancing his specialty through research and clinical practice.

In addition to his private practice, Dr. Stancill has contributed significantly to dental education. He served as an adjunct professor at the UNC Chapel Hill Dental School for over a decade, where he imparted his knowledge and expertise to future generations of dental professionals.

Dr. Stancill maintains active membership in several esteemed dental organizations, including the Raleigh Wake County Dental Society, the North Carolina Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontists. These affiliations underscore his dedication to staying at the forefront of advancements in dental techniques and patient care.

Throughout his career, Dr. Stancill has remained committed to providing comprehensive endodontic care tailored to the individual needs of each patient.

DIPLOMATE, AMERICAN BOARD OF ENDODONTICS

Dr. Devang Patel, known to his patients and colleagues as Dr. Dev Patel, began his journey in dentistry in a small town in India, where he received his initial dental training. In 2013, he moved to the United States, driven by a passion for continuous learning and professional growth. Dr. Patel furthered his education by earning a Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) from the University of North Texas, where he was inducted into the Delta Omega national honorary society, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating with honors and election to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society.

With a commitment to excellence in patient care, Dr. Patel practiced general dentistry for four years in Raleigh, NC. His dedication to preserving natural teeth led him to specialize in Endodontics, inspiring him to complete a two-year endodontic residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City before returning to Raleigh. Through intensive training, he honed his expertise in this field and is now an eligible candidate for the American Board of Endodontics. 

Dr. Patel believes in a patient-centered approach, blending his technical skills in endodontics with compassionate care to restore and maintain healthy smiles. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys woodworking, golfing, and spending time outdoors.
